I'm replying years after this was originally posted, but anyway –
Reminisce was SFAI alum Ruby Neri. She changed gears in 1997, leaving San Francisco, graffiti, and "Mission School" aesthetics behind for the greener (?) pastures of LA. She got her MFA from UCLA in 1998 and stayed down there. Her aesthetic is very different from her graff and mural work and she mainly does sculpture now, but still focused on horses.
