Class 1989: I remember the artstatute when students made art, now they seem to want to make mommy and daddy happy. I am so glad to have gone when I DID. BFA Painting

Yeah the last of the old right is almost passed there. Isn't ironic that the art academy is now down the street heh. Class 2002

Class 1992: I was very upset when I visited my alma mater. No art in the foyer, no art in the sculpture pit, no art above the cafe, no art in the halls, WHERE IS THE ART? Not even an annoying P/V student running around naked was in sight!
What are you people doing there?
The Diego Rivera gallery had little drawings taped up. TAPED! Some were even stapled directly to the wall. They looked like a whole 30 minutes was spent on them. (By the way, this was the week of October 25th so you know who you are).
The library was empty! Do you guys even read?
Sorry, but for an Institution that used to have rigid standards of excellence , it now seems like a place to drop off your untalented kids if you have half a million dollars.
